Privacy & data use
What we collect, what we don't, and why.
Last updated: June 2026
The short version
Your survey responses are anonymous in reporting. We collect your email only to prevent duplicate submissions and — if you opt in — to send you the final research report. We never sell, rent, share, or use your email for marketing.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to issue a one-time survey link and to prevent the same person from submitting twice.
- Your survey answers, including any optional free-text responses you choose to share.
- Optional report opt-in and follow-up flag, if you indicate on the thank-you page that you'd like a copy of the report or are open to a short follow-up interview.
What we don't collect
- No name, employer, IP address, or device fingerprint is stored alongside your answers.
- No tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics on the survey itself.
- No payment information — the survey is free to take.
How your data is stored
Responses are stored in a private database managed by Hamer Marketing Group. Your email is stored in a separate table from your answers so that aggregate analysis and report exports do not surface individual identities. Access is restricted to Kyle Hamer and is protected by authentication and access logs.
How the report is built
The published report contains aggregate findings, statistical summaries, and themes drawn from open-ended responses. If a direct quote is used, it will be either de-identified or shared only with explicit opt-in consent.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your email and/or your survey response at any time by emailing kyle@hamermarketing.com. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
